Police Identify Victim of Homicide as Fairfield Man
The 23-year-old was shot Sunday afternoon at a Vallejo hotel.
Vallejo police have identified the victim of a homicide at a hotel on Sunday afternoon as 23-year-old Robby Poblete of Fairfield. Poblete also had ties to Vallejo, police Capt. Jim O’Connell said.
Police found Poblete dead from gunshot wounds around 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the Howard Johnson Inn on Admiral Callahan Lane. A 72-year-old man also was injured but is expected to survive, police said.
The shooting suspect or suspects fled before police arrived and remain at large, police said.
