Public's Help Sought: Elderly Man Missing From His Solano Co. Home

SOLANO COUNTY, CA – Police are asking for the public's help to find a 78-year-old man who vanished after leaving his Vacaville home Monday afternoon, according to police.

Jesse Sims was last seen leaving his home around 1 p.m., while driving a gray 2005 Lexus LS 430 with the license plate number 5PTU980, police said.

Police consider Sims at risk because he has beginning stages of dementia, according to police.

He's described as being 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds, police said.
