Red Cross Opens Emergency Assistance Center For Earthquake Victims
The center will be at the Napa Valley Marriott for folks from Napa and Solano counties.

The American Red Cross will open an emergency assistance center today at a hotel in Napa to meet with victims of the August 24 earthquake, assess what they need and help them recuperate, according to a spokeswoman.
The center will debut at the Napa Valley Marriott Hotel at 3425 Solano Ave. in Napa and continue to operate daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., according Red Cross spokeswoman Jennifer Sturm.
People living in both Napa and Solano counties who were affected by the 6.0 magnitude temblor in the Napa Valley are encouraged to stop by for one-on-one meetings with Red Cross caseworkers about their needs and would assist them in recovering, Sturm said.
