Option A would close a high school and an elementary school, eliminate athletic stipends that make sports possible, eliminate independent study and home-to-school transport among other cuts, but no suspension of kindergarten.
Option B would eliminate independent study and home-to-school transport, suspend kindergarten (now estimated at a $3.72 million savings) but save sports and avoid closing schools.
