Solano County Babysitter Convicted Of Child Abuse Of 5-Month-Old
A jury found Chloe James, 28, guilty this week in an incident in which she threw the baby boy, resulting in three skull fractures.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA — A babysitter was convicted this week of felony child abuse of a 5-month-old baby in Fairfield in 2016. Chloe James, 28, was also found guilty Wednesday by a Solano County jury of personally inflicted great bodily injury to a child under the age of 5, according to the office of Solano County District Attorney Krishna Abrams.
James was babysitting the infant on June 13, 2016 when she threw the 5-month-old baby boy on the couch with such force that he bounced off the couch and hit his head on a nearby brick hearth, the DA's Office said in a statement.
The baby suffered three skull fractures and had to eventually undergo extensive surgery, county prosecutors said.
