Solano County Coroner IDs Teen Brother & Sister Tragically Killed in Saturday Crash
The two were killed and another injured on Nut Tree Road and Yellowstone Drive in Vacaville.
A brother and sister from Fairfield were killed in a crash in Vacaville early Saturday morning, authorities said.
The Solano County coroner’s office identified them as Raymond Medrano, 19, and 16-year-old Ashley Medrano, who died at the scene.

A third occupant of the vehicle was taken to a hospital. Vacaville police Sgt. Jason Johnson said.
Police received calls around 12:55 a.m. Saturday about a vehicle striking a tree in the area of Nut Tree Road and Yellowstone Drive, Johnson said.

A preliminary investigation indicates the vehicle was speeding before it hit the tree, Johnson said.
