Suisun City Community Drop-Off Days – Coronavirus Style

All batteries must be removed from electronic items and the limit weight per electronic item is 60 lbs.

Health directives and restrictions designed to contain the COVID-19 pandemic has forced the cancellation of the Community Drop-Off event scheduled for August.

In its place, Republic Services and Suisun City are providing 250 landfill coupons to be distributed to Suisun City customers at the Republic Services’ office at 2901 Industrial Court in Fairfield on a first-come, first-served basis starting on Monday, August 3, 2020.

The landfill coupons are valid for one load of about 4 cubic yards (approximately the size of a standard pickup truck bed) to be delivered to Potrero Hills Landfill at 3675 Potrero Hills Lane, Suisun City before August 31, 2020.

As an additional service, Republic Services will accept up to two appliances (White Goods) from Suisun City residents (proof of residency required) at its facility at 2901 Industrial Court in Fairfield on:

  • July 31 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. (closed for lunch from 11:45 a.m. – 1 p.m.)
  • August 1 from 8 a.m. to Noon
  • August 7 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. (closed for lunch from 11:45 a.m. – 1 p.m.)
  • August 8 from 8 a.m. to Noon.

Suisun City residents also can drop-off up to five (5) small electronic items (e-waste) on an on-going basis at the Republic Services facility at 2901 Industrial Court in Fairfield every Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. (closed from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. for lunch). All batteries must be removed from electronic items and the limit weight per electronic item is 60 lbs. Proof of residency is required for e-waste drop-off.
