Suisun City Council Adopts Noise Ordinance Regarding Noise Regulations, Specific Prohibitions And Exemptions

Last month on June 16, 2020, the City Council adopted a noise ordinance. Prior to the adoption, the City was without a noise ordinance or noise regulations to enforce. The ordinance adds subsection “S” to Section 8.12.080 of Chapter 8.12 of the Suisun City Code. The ordinance also amends the “Construction Work Hours” section of Title 15.

The ordinance provides definitions, noise regulations, specific prohibitions, and exemptions related to noise-generating activities.
