Suisun City Man Dies In Air Base Parkway Crash
BREAKING: Fairfield police are investigating the fatal collision and believe a second vehicle may have been involved and left the scene.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA β Fairfield police are continuing their investigation of a crash early Saturday morning on Air Base Parkway that resulted in the death of a Suisun City man. Fairfield police traffic investigators have determined that the deceased, Luiz Carlos Diaz Medina, 27, was driving a dark-colored Toyota Sienna minivan westbound on Air Base Parkway, west of North Texas Street, at about 1:20 a.m. when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree, police Sgt. Matt Bloesch said Monday in a news release.
Fairfield police and fire personnel responded to multiple reports of the collision and upon arrival, found that Diaz Medina was ejected from the car, Bloesch said. Paramedics began life-saving efforts but Diaz Medina died at the scene from his injuries.
Air Base Parkway was shut down until noon Saturday while investigators collected evidence and documented the scene.
