Hop on by with your car and wave to the Easter Bunny on Easter Sunday!

To help bring back some of the fun COVID-19 has tried to suck out of Easter this year, Suisun City has partnered with VnA’s Hop 4 Hope Drive-Thru Easter at 340 Shoveller Drive in Suisun City.

The City will provide 25 golden eggs filled with goodies from local businesses as a part of the event (social distancing style) on Sunday, April 12th. The eggs will be sanitized and placed in a cellophane with a tag for instructions to discard the cellophane for safety.

While not hiding eggs, the Easter Bunny will be wishing everyone “Don’t Worry and Be Hoppy” from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.; 10:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.; 11:30 a.m. to Noon; and 12:15 p.m. to – 12:45 p.m. The Mayor’s Big Golden Eggs will be given out randomly during those show times.

Mayor Lori Wilson and the Suisun City Council would like to thank McDonald’s, Travis Credit Union, Popeye’s, Dr. Nare (Suisun City Dental), Travis AFB, Kroc Center, La Cabana, various city departments, and the “Secret Easter Bunnies” who donated cash and other donations as a part of the egg filling. Each egg has over $50 in goodies included.
