Suisun City Teen Shot in the Leg

Fairfield police are looking for a suspect who shot a 16-year-old Suisun City boy Wednesday afternoon.

The teen and the suspect had an argument around 2:15 p.m. Wednesday on Clay Street near Utah Street, police said. The teen tried to flee but the suspect shot at him several times.

He was treated at a hospital for a gunshot wound in the lower leg, an injury not considered life-threatening, police said.

The suspect is a light-skinned Hispanic or white man. He was wearing a black beanie, black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans and was last seen running north on Clay Street from Utah Street, police said.
