Ready to retro-rock?Β  Enjoy the fun and excitement the Retro Rock It Band brings to the stage.Β  Performing an energetic blend of rock n’ roll dance music in the style of the Beatles, Jimmy Buffet, Spencer Davis, Buffalo Springfield, Santana, and more. Check them out!

Solano College Theatre proudly presents "Loves Labour's Lost," directed by Carla Spindt as a modern-day version of a classic comedy complete with a "Glee" moment. Produced outdoors in the Harbor Square Courtyard and in the .

Love’s Labour’s Lost is one of the bard's earliest comedies, in which four bachelors who have dedicated themselves to chastity and scholarly pursuits soon encounter the women of their dreams.Β 

If you go: Friday’s free show begins at 7:30 p.m. at Harbor Theatre, 720 Main Street in Suisun City. Saturday and Sunday’s shows begin at 2 p.m. at the Harbor Square Courtyard , 700 Main Street.Β  Please bring chairs or blankets for Harbor Square Courtyard performances. Seating not provided in the paved courtyard. Β The show continues with the following times: indoor shows will be at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 5th and 12th, outdoor shows at the fireplace will be 2 p.m. Aug. 6th, 7th and 13th and 7:30 p.m. the 10th, 11th and 12th, the last show will be at the Tenbrink Winery in Fairfield on the 14th at 2 p.m.

Saturday:

The 3rd annual Music in the Park celebrationΒ is a greatΒ way to encourage the community to support their local library, and other local organizations. Bring a picnic, a kite, friends and family to this fun event hosted by MC Go and featuring Dulce the Clown.

The event includes activities both inside and at Hall Park adjacent to the library. Entertainment includes ukulele player Izi Holokahi, alternative :"kindie" music group the Hipwaders, and talented vocalist Courtney Knott. Games will be played both outside and inside the library.

Organizations and businesses will have information booths set up inside the library and include Solano Department Child Services, Wells Fargo, Veteran Services, and Ozcat Radio. Additionally, artists and photographers will be displaying their work.

If you go: The free celebration is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Suisun City Library, 601 Pintail Drive and next door at Hall Park in Suisun City. Have a great day!

You are invited to the opening night reception of People and Places.Β Twenty four Lawler House Gallery artists present their interpretation of people and places. Works include self portrait, abstract figurative,Β realistic, impressionistic, surreal, abstract, cartoon, landscape, architectural designs as well as wearable art and jewelry.the evening includes live music by R&B singer Amber Gougis, local wine and delicious appetizers.

If you go: The free reception is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Lawler House Gallery, 718 Main Street, Suite101, in Suisun City.

Come see the movie outdoors on the beautiful Harbor Plaza in the heart of the Waterfront District on Main Street and Solano Street.Β  Bring a blanket or low-slung chair for lawn seating, your favorite snacks, and enjoy the weekly show! Megamind (PG)- Notorious Metro City villain, Megamind (voice of Will Ferrell) becomes an unlikely savior to the troubled metropolis after defeating beloved do-gooder Metro Man (voice of Brad Pitt) and creating a new opponent who refuses to play by the rules.

If you go: The movie starts at Dusk (about 8:30 p.m.) on Harbor Plaza at Main Street and Solano Street.

Sunday:

Enjoy live jazz music on the shores of Suisun Marina with your friends and family. Enjoy an afternoon of great music with Blusion. The group fronted by singer/bandleader Rustie Woods this funk-jazz fusion ensemble has performed throughout the Bay Area and beyond for the past twelve years. From jazz festivals to county fairs their high-quality professional show is always a memorable favorite. Original, upbeat, offbeat and unconventional, Blusion blends funk, Latin, hip-hop jazz, blues, rock and reggae into an unadulterated celebration.

If you go: The free concert is from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Harbor Plaza at Main Street and Solano Street in Suisun City.
