Tee Off For Athletes: Upcoming Golf Invitational Supports SCC Sports
SCC Educational Foundation hosts 3rd annual tournament. Golfers, sponsors, donations are welcomed!

The Solano Community College (SCC) Education Foundation, in conjunction with SCC’s Athletics Department and Boosters Club, proudly hosts the 3rd Annual Golf Invitational Tee Off for Athletes fundraiser on Friday, October 3, 2014, at Hiddenbrooke Golf Club in Vallejo.
The tournament supports seven different collegiate sports teams and the Sports Medicine program. Half of team budgets come from fundraising, and without community support, the teams would cease to exist. Every team will benefit from the tournament including: baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, women’s soccer, softball, swimming/diving, and women’s volleyball.
“Our goal this year is to surpass the past years’ totals. All support will benefit our championship teams,” explained Curt Johnston, SCC Educational Foundation executive director. “The enrichment athletics programs offer students on and off the court/field makes a significant difference in their college careers and their lives. Supporting athletics by golfing at a beautiful course is a win-win for donors and student athletes.”
