Three Displaced in Apartment Fire in Fairfield
No one was home at the time of the blaze.

The Fairfield Fire Department is investigating a 2-alarm fire that started in an apartment on Crowley Lane in Fairfield this morning.
The fire was reported at 10:15 a.m. and was controlled at 10:35 a.m., Deputy Chief George Merodio said. The cause and point of origin are under investigation and there were no injuries.
The fire in the second-story apartment displaced three people including a child.

No one was home at the time, and a neighbor tried to put out the blaze, Merodio said.
Fifteen Fairfield firefighters responded, and the Vallejo and Vacaville fire departments handled the Fairfield Fire Department’s calls in the interim, Merodio said.
