TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Fire Is Blocking Lane Of Eastbound I-80

A grass fire has blocked the right lane of eastbound Interstate Highway 80 at the interchange of northbound Interstate Highway 505 this afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP reported the fire on the right shoulder of I-80 at 1:11 p.m. The blaze at one point blocked all eastbound lanes of the highway, CHP officials said.

The CHP estimated the right lane will be closed until around 3:20 p.m.
