California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a fatal vehicle crash this morning in Fairfield, near Interstate Highway 80.
At 12:32 a.m. the CHP received a report of the crash on the westbound North Texas Street off ramp, according to the CHP. There are at least two fatalities and two people suffering major injuries, a CHP dispatcher said.
The dispatcher was unsure if more than one vehicle was involved in the crash.
