Vacaville Man Arrested After Short Vehicle Pursuit
Police arrested a 20-year-old man Friday night in Vacaville after he led officers on a short vehicle pursuit.
VACAVILLE - Police arrested a 20-year-old man Friday night in Vacaville after he led officers on a short vehicle pursuit.
Around 10 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of Kenyon Drive after a resident called to report a suspicious vehicle in the area, according to police.
When officers arrived, the vehicle, a red compact car, sped out of the area at a high rate of speed, with no lights on, police said.

Officers chased the suspect vehicle through the neighborhood before it struck a curb near the 300 block of Royal Oaks, resulting in two flat tires, according to police.
After making contact with the three occupants inside the car, officers arrested the driver, identified as Joshua Green of Vacaville.

Green was arrested on suspicion of evading police, reckless driving and possession of marijuana, police said.
The other two occupants were not arrested.
