Vallejo Man Critical After Being Shot in a Car-to-Car Shooting

A 23-year-old Vallejo man is in critical condition Tuesday afternoon at a hospital following a shooting at Redwood Parkway and Cadloni Lane earlier in the day, a police lieutenant said.

The shooting was reported at 11:27 a.m., Lt. Jeff Bassett said. The victim was found slumped over the steering wheel of a white vehicle.

Witnesses said the gunfire came from a newer blue or green vehicle with four occupants, Bassett said.

Police recovered several bullet casings at the scene, and several bullets struck the victim’s car, Bassett said.
