According to AAA, California has seen a more than 50 cent rise in gas prices since February 8. Its daily www.fuelgaugereport.com for March 12 notes the national average was $3.55 per gallon for regular gas; California’s average price per gallon is 40 cents higher at $3.95.
So who has the cheapest gas in Suisun City?
A quick search on AAA’s list of cheapest gas stations found that the 7-11 at 801 Sunset Ave. has gas starting at $3.88 per gallon for regular. Across the way at the Chevron at 1200 Anderson Dr., regular started at $3.90 per gallon. A quick venture to the Bonfare Market and gas station at 2301 Walters Rd, however, could save you a few more pennies; regular starts at $3.79 per gallon there, if you pay in cash.
