3 Tons Of Marijuana Discovered Near Southwest Riverside County
Eight search warrants were served and four people arrested during Monday's raids.

SOUTHWEST RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — Approximately 4,194 marijuana plants were eradicated and 383 pounds of processed marijuana seized at Anza locations Monday, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
In addition to the nearly three tons of marijuana found at the sites, during search warrant services deputies also seized a rifle and handgun, a honey oil lab, and two containers of banned chemicals used in marijuana production, according to the sheriff's department.
The department said the following suspects were arrested on suspicion of marijuana cultivation:

- 56-year-old Anza resident Christopher Easterling
- 55-year-old Anza resident Rhonda Easterling
- 30-year-old Union City resident Jesus Ojeda
- 67-year-old Anza resident Pedro Campo-Hernandez
Also on Monday sheriff's investigators served search warrants at two "illegal marijuana dispensaries" operating in unincorporated Riverside County, just west of Lake Mathews, according to the department.
During the search in the 19000 block 0f Temescal Canyon Road, deputies found "illegal storefront operations" selling cannabis products; the storefront employees were detained and questioned, and the investigation is ongoing, the sheriff's department said.
