33 RivCo Restaurant Health Closures: Arby's, Golden Corral, Starbucks, Golf Club Eatery

Health inspectors temporarily closed restaurants and food facilities across the county due to rodents, cockroaches and a lack of hot water.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — Riverside County health inspectors temporarily closed restaurants, food trucks and other food facilities across the county after finding conditions that required immediate correction, according to the county's Food Facility Closures Within Last 60 Days report.

The closures included restaurants and food facilities in Aguanga, Indio, Murrieta, Perris, Riverside and Temecula, among other Riverside County cities. Inspectors noted issues including rodent activity, cockroach activity, insufficient hot water, sewage problems, lack of a valid health permit and other immediate health concerns. All of the closures were required to ensure guests are not sickened upon visiting.

Restaurants are typically allowed to reopen after violations are corrected and a follow-up inspection confirms the facility can safely resume operation. The following 36 Riverside County food facilities were listed in the county closure report, organized by city and closure date:

Aguanga

Chad's Lakeside Kitchen, at 45525 CA-79, was closed May 26, 2026, after investigators found the facility had no water supply. No reopening information has been released yet, though a reinspection date was scheduled for June 2, according to the report.

Corona

Bawarchi Tandoori, at 611 E. Grand Blvd., was closed May 19, 2026, after investigators cited a vermin infestation other than cockroaches or rodents. The restaurant was permitted to reopen on May 21, 2026, once proper pest control measures were instituted.

Indio

Terra Lago Golf Club, at 84000 Terra Lago Parkway, was closed June 16, 2026, after investigators discovered evidence of cockroaches inside the facility. The facility was permitted to reopen on June 23, 2026 once proper pest control measures were put in place.

Jurupa Valley

Jasmine Garden, at 7990 Limonite Ave., Suite A, was closed May 14, 2026, after investigators discovered evidence of cockroaches inside the facility. The restaurant was permitted to reopen on May 21, 2026 having initiated proper pest control measure.

Avon Gardens, at 9021 Hastings Blvd., was closed June 18, 2026, after investigators found the facility had insufficient hot water. No reopening information has yet been released.

Las Palmas Raspados, at 3791 Opal St., #2, was closed June 23, 2026, after investigators found the facility had insufficient hot water. No reopening information has yet been released.

Lake Elsinore

La Nueva Michoacana, at 17053 Lakeshore Drive, was closed May 29, 2026, after investigators discovered evidence of cockroaches inside the facility. The restaurant was permitted to reopen on June 2, 2026 once proper pest control measures were initiated.

Golden Corral, at 18625 Dexter Ave., was closed June 18, 2026, after investigators discovered evidence of cockroaches inside the facility. The restaurant was permitted to reopen on June 19, 2026 after pest control measures were added.

Moreno Valley

El Gran Rincon de Sabores, at 25211 Sunnymead Blvd., #E4, was closed June 18, 2026, after investigators found the facility was operating without a valid health permit. No reopening information has been released yet.

Murrieta

Jade China, at 40982 California Oaks Road, was closed May 7, 2026. No exact reason for the closure was immediately specified, but the restaurant was downgraded during the visit until proper health measures could be reinstated. The restaurant was permitted to reopen on May 8, 2026.

Lola's Birria Taco Bar, at 40469 Murrieta Hot Springs Road, Suite G7, was closed May 11, 2026, after a fire suppression discharge occurred inside the facility. The restaurant was permitted to reopen on June 10, 2026 after repairs from the fire were completed.

Arby's #7132, at 25251 Madison Ave., was closed June 8, 2026. No exact reason for the closure was immediately specified,. The restaurant was permitted to reopen on June 9, 2026.

Norco

Dutch Bros Coffee, at 3561 Hamner Ave., was closed May 12, 2026, after investigators found the facility had insufficient hot water. The business was permitted to reopen May 12, 2026.

Palm Desert

Sullivan's Steakhouse #8570, at 73505 El Paseo, #2600, was closed June 10, 2026, after investigators found the facility had insufficient hot water. The restaurant was permitted to reopen on June 11, 2026.

Palm Springs

McDonald's #31577, at 5601 E. Ramon Road, was closed May 11, 2026, after investigators found a sewage overflow at the facility. The restaurant was permitted to reopen on May 11, 2026.

Loco Charlies Mexican Grill, at 1751 N. Sunrise Way, Suite F5, was closed May 14, 2026, after investigators discovered evidence of cockroaches inside the facility. No reopening information has yet been released.

Spencer's Bakery/Banquet, at 701 W. Baristo Road, was closed May 22, 2026, after investigators discovered evidence of rodents inside the facility. The business was permitted to reopen on May 29, 2026.

Infusion Beach Club-OOB, at 1900 N. Palm Canyon Drive, was closed June 12, 2026, after investigators found the facility was operating without a valid health permit. No reopening information has been released yet.

Las Casuelas Terraza, at 222 S. Palm Canyon Drive, was closed June 18, 2026. No exact reason for the closure was immediately specified. The restaurant was permitted to reopen on June 19, 2026.

Perris

La Michoacana Pops, at 436 S. D St., was closed April 29, 2026, after investigators found the facility lacked power or other utilities. No reopening information has been released yet.

Rancho Mirage

Haus Of Poke, at 42500 Bob Hope Drive, Suite 3, was closed June 18, 2026, after investigators found a sewage overflow at the facility. The restaurant was permitted to reopen on June 22, 2026 after the plumbing problems were fixed.

Starbucks #25820, also located at 42500 Bob Hope Drive, Suite D, was closed June 18, 2026, after investigators found a sewage overflow at the facility. The business was permitted to reopen on June 22, 2026 once the contractor completed the plumbing issues outside of the businesses.

Riverside

Meat Lover BBQ and Fried Chicken Kitchen, at 1400 University Ave., #A108, was closed May 6, 2026, after investigators found unsanitary conditions at the facility. The restaurant was permitted to reopen on May 19, 2026 once all complaints were addressed.

New India Sweets & Spices, at 1320 W. Blaine St., was closed May 21, 2026, after investigators discovered evidence of cockroaches inside the facility. The restaurant was permitted to reopen on May 28, 2026 once proper pest control measures were put into place.

El Trigo Taqueria, at 4155 Park Ave., was closed June 1, 2026, after investigators discovered evidence of cockroaches inside the facility. The restaurant was permitted to reopen on June 16, 2026 after pest control was implemented.

Vegan Vatoz, at 4464 Vine St., was closed June 4, 2026, after investigators found unsanitary conditions at the facility. The restaurant was permitted to reopen June 9, 2026 once all investigator issues were resolved.

Dollar Mart Plus, at 6160 Arlington Ave., #C16C, was closed on June 5, 2026, after the store went out of business, according to health inspectors.

Raj Specialty Catering, at 9240 Magnolia Ave., was closed on June 9, 2026, after investigators found the facility's plumbing in disrepair, among other issues. No reopening information has yet been released.

Sweet Deals, at 4664 Vine St., was closed June 9, 2026, after investigators cited a vermin infestation other than cockroaches or rodents. The business was permitted to reopen on June 12, 2026 after proper pest control measures were initiated.

Saku Ramen, at 3643 Main St., was closed June 16, 2026, after investigators found the facility had insufficient hot water. The restaurant was permitted to reopen June 16, 2026.

Temecula

85 Degrees C Bakery Cafe, at 27473 Ynez Road, Suite 1A, was closed April 27, 2026, after investigators found plumbing in disrepair at the facility. The bakery was permitted to reopen April 30, 2026.
