$4.5M Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In Temecula, Second For IE
In addition to the Temecula winner, a ticket sold near Redlands on Saturday was worth $14 million.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — A ticket with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number, in Wednesday evening's multi-state Powerball lottery drawing was sold at a convenience store in Temecula and is worth $4,472,553.
There were four other tickets sold with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number. The ones sold in Ohio and Wisconsin are each worth $2 million because the players utilized the Power Play option, where for an additional $1 per play, a ticket with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number, is worth $2 million.
The ones sold in the District of Columbia and New Jersey are both worth $1 million.
California law requires major payoffs of lottery games to be paid on a pari-mutuel basis.

There were no tickets sold with all six numbers and the estimated jackpot for Saturday's drawing is expected to grow to $258 million.
The numbers drawn Wednesday were 12, 18, 20, 29, 30 and the Powerball number was 16. The jackpot was $241 million.

The drawing was the 18th since a ticket with all six numbers was sold.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number is 1 in about 293 million, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 24.87.
The Powerball game is played in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.
Another SuperLotto Plus ticket purchased in the Inland Empire for the Aug. 7th drawing won the jackpot of $14 million, according to the California Lottery.
It was sold by a Valero gas station/convenience store at 7955 Webster Street in Highland, north of Redlands.
The ticket matched all 5 regular numbers and the mega-number. Here's the winning combination:

In addition to the jackpot, three lucky winners will also receive $11,607 each for matching the first 5 numbers, but missing the mega. Those winning tickets were sold in Roseville, Bakersfield and Calexico.
Friday's MegaMillions jackpot is $208 million.
