4 Flee Temecula House Fire, Red Cross Called To The Scene

Early Friday, a fire broke out at a home near Overland Trail in Temecula.

TEMECULA, CA — A total of four people were forced from their Red Hawk area home after their two-story Temecula home caught fire, ac, but no one was injured, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

Shortly after 7:45 a.m. Friday, firefighters rushed to the burning home in the 44000 block of Bananal Way, spokesperson Jasmine Wood said.

"Arriving crews encountered light smoke coming from the home, and it was knocked down at 8 a.m.," she said. No animals were reported trapped in the blaze.

The Red Cross was requested to assist the people who could not return to their homes.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
