4-Vehicle Crash On I-15 Reported In Temecula

TEMECULA, CA — Emergency personnel are at the scene of a multi-vehicle crash in the Temecula area on Monday morning. California Highway Patrol logs indicate an ambulance was called to the scene.

The crash was reported on the northbound side of Interstate 15 near Rancho California Road just before 11 a.m., according to preliminary CHP logs. A vehicle apparently went down the right shoulder embankment in the wreck. Another car reportedly spun out of control, while a van was side swiped.

Riverside County Fire Department personnel were called to the scene at 10:58 a.m., according to reports.

It wasn't immediately clear how many people, if any, needed medical treatment.

Traffic reports showed a slowdown in the area as a result of the collision.
