4th Of July Extravaganza In Temecula: Parade, Fireworks And Fun

Parade entries are still open for local groups! Come and enjoy the fun on Independence Day in Temecula.

TEMECULA, CA – The City of Temecula will host the Annual 4th of July Extravaganza on Tuesday, July 4, starting with a parade and ending with a fireworks spectacular, the city announced.

"Get the whole family decked out in red, white, and blue
apparel and kick off the fun-filled day at 10 a.m. with the
popular Star-Spangled 4th of July Parade beginning on the south end of Old Town, continuing north up Old Town Front Street from arch to arch. The Parade will feature City officials, Police, Fire, scout troops, businesses, and other local participants all sharing their love for our country. There are a limited number of parade entries still open, so hurry and reserve your organization’s spot and join in on all the fun.

Temecula Mayor Zak Schwank shared his thoughts on the upcoming parade.

“This parade is something that is very special to experience. My family and I love seeing our community come together lining the streets in their red, white, and blue, waving American flags, and cheering on all the entries as they make their way down Old Town Front Street. Temecula’s hometown pride and gratitude for our freedom are on full display all day and night!”

After the Parade, it is time to pack up the family as the day continues at the Ronald Reagan Sports Park.

Gather at the park from 2 to 10 p.m. at 30875 Rancho Vista Road from for Family Fun followed by the Fireworks Show. During that event, the Kids Fun Zone will be open until 8:45 p.m. and fireworks will begin at 9 p.m.

Mayor Pro Tem and Temecula Community Services District President James ‘Stew’ Stewart commented on the event.

“I look forward to this event all year long because of the wonderful live entertainment and the best fireworks show in the Valley. Ronald Reagan Sports Park is the perfect venue to spend the 4th of July with family and friends every year!”
