500+ Women Gather In Temecula For Health Expo
The event featured education regarding heart, stroke and gynecological health.

From Temecula Valley Hospital: Temecula Valley Hospital and Southwest Healthcare System, which includes Rancho Springs Medical Center and Inland Valley Medical Center, is proud to announce that over 500 local women joined in the Women’s Health Expo on February 28, 2018 at Pechanga Resort and Casino. This event was sold out with a waiting list!
The event featured education regarding heart, stroke and gynecological health for women. The event was free to attend and lunch was provided to registered participants. Education and resources were available; including free screenings that were available for women to learn their numbers in terms of measurements that put them at risk. Blood pressure and Electrocardiograms (EKGs), a test that tracks the heart’s electrical activity to determine if there are any abnormalities, were offered to attendees.
There were over 40 informational booths that provided education on nutrition and healthy eating education, exercise, smoking cessation, stroke, heart disease, and stress management. American Medical Response (AMR) provided hands-only CPR training. Local businesses attended and offered healthy lifestyle options to attendees.

All women who attended this informative event received education on their health, including heart disease, stroke, gynecological health, as well as details to empower themselves to make lifestyle changes that may help save their life.
