RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — After 12 search warrants were authorized, Riverside County Sheriff’s Department personnel on Monday arrested seven suspects and seized approximately 6,201 marijuana plants and 279 pounds of processed marijuana, for a total combined weight of more than three tons, plus a revolver from a property in the unincorporated area of Anza, officials said.

The following suspects were arrested, deputies said, with charges expected to be filed with the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office for alleged marijuana cultivation:

  • Anza resident Raimey O’Dell, 38
  • Anza resident Javier Zatarin, 36
  • Coachella resident Raul Felix, 23
  • San Jacinto resident Kimberly Snow, 52
  • Riverside resident Mickey Mooc, 58
  • Cabazon resident Gale Komthongpane, 53
  • Perris resident Som Porn Guy, 68

Riverside County Sheriff’s Department stated that marijuana cultivation negatively impacts the environment as it can diminish and poison the water table, with pesticides adversely affecting the health of residents.
