Actor, Comedian Kevin James Coming to Temecula for Stand-up

TEMECULA, CA – Kevin Can Wait star Kevin James is taking over the Pechanga Resort & Casino Theater with a hilarious stand-up comedy show this spring. James, who has starred opposite Adam Sandler, Will Smith, and other A-list celebrities, will be performing at Pechanga on Sunday, April 23, at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale Thursday, February 9, at 3 p.m. and are $89, $99, $109, and $119.

Kevin James is a producer, actor, stand-up comedian, and voice-over actor best known for his star role in The King of Queens, which earned him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. James was a comedian before he was ever an actor. He began his career doing stand-up in Long Island and later brought The King of Queens to fruition after being discovered at the 1996 Montreal Comedy Festival.

After an extremely successful nine-season run starring in and producing The King of Queens, James brought his stand-up act to television with Sweat the Small Stuff,a one-hour special for Comedy Central. After conquering his sitcom and televised stand-up performance, James set his sights on feature films. He’s worked with Will Smith in Hitch and collaborated with Adam Sandler in a number of successful projects such as Grown Ups, and many more. In addition to his on-camera work, James’s voice has been featured in several hit animated films.
