Alleged Temecula Child Molester With 'Multiple Victims' Arrested, Police Say

Police say they know of at least two victims.

TEMECULA, CA — A Temecula man has been arrested on suspicion of molesting a child and has been booked into the Southwest jail on multiple felony charges on $1 million bail, according to police and jail records. Jose Fabian, 56, is accused of molesting a young female victim on "several instances," police said Monday.

According to Sgt. Steve Fredericks, an alleged molestation case was first reported on April 21. An additional case was then discovered.

"Detectives contacted the juvenile female victim, who disclosed several instances of being sexually abused by 56 year-old Temecula resident Jose Fabian," Fredericks said in a news release. "Throughout the course of their investigation, detectives discovered at least one additional victim."

Fabian was found and arrested on Friday, Fredricks said.

"He was booked at Southwest Detention Center on multiple counts of committing lewd acts with a minor, as well as enhancements for abusing multiple victims over a period of time," according to the sergeant.
