TEMECULA, CA — Temecula Rod Run will return to historic Old Town Temecula on Friday, May 1, and Saturday, May 2, bringing classic hot rods, vintage vehicles and tens of thousands of visitors to the city’s annual signature event.
"All car enthusiasts, from novice to expert, are welcome to join in the annual Temecula Rod Run, one of the longest-running car shows in the West," a spokesperson from the city said.
The free event is expected to feature more than 500 pristine classics and under-construction projects, including Model A’s, T-Buckets and Roadsters displayed from arch to arch.
The festivities kick off with Friday Night Cruise from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, May 1, as classic hot rods and vintage vehicles cruise up and down Old Town Front Street.
The Rod Run action continues from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 2, with the Show & Shine, where vehicles are parked and on full display, allowing guests to stroll through Old Town, admire the craftsmanship of each car, connect with owners and explore a variety of vendors throughout the day.
"Visitors are also encouraged to visit vendors on Main Street to enjoy hot eats and cool treats, and to purchase official Temecula Rod Run merchandise," the city said.
Sponsors include So Cal Rods and Customs, England Family Mortuary, Rightway Site Services, Us Versus Them, Meza Automotive Paint and Rancho Water, which the city thanked for helping make the free annual event possible.
