TEMECULA, CA — Possible smoke from an unknown source triggered fears of a fire inside a building at the Pechanga Resort Casino Friday, but there were no reports of damage.
The non-injury incident was reported at 2:34 p.m. Friday inside the Human Resources Center for the resort, located at 45421 Pechanga Resort Drive, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The agency stated that tribal fire personnel were first to arrive and investigate the fire alarm.
Multiple county fire engine crews and one truck company crew were sent to the location, as well, but there were no indications of an emergency when they arrived, according to reports from the scene.
The building was reportedly evacuated as a precaution.
An investigation was underway Friday afternoon.
