Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library Announces August Events For All Ages

TEMECULA, CA — The Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library has announced a series of public community events for August, featuring back-to-school activities, safety seminars, and entertainment for all ages.

The library, located at 30600 Pauba Road, will kick off its August schedule with the return of the BiblioBabble Book Club on Tuesday, Aug. 4. The group for adults 18 and older will meet from 11 a.m. to noon to discuss Ashley Elston's novel First Lie Wins. Registration is open and required by calling the reference desk at 951-693-8940.

On Thursday, Aug. 13, the library will host a wildfire preparedness seminar in conjunction with the Office of Emergency Management from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The informational event is open to all ages without prior registration.

Ahead of the new school year, children ages 5 to 12 can participate in a notebook-decorating craft event on Wednesday, Aug. 19, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. In-person registration opens Wednesday, Aug. 12.

Teens in seventh through 12th grade can attend a "Beat the Heat Game Night" on Thursday, Aug. 20, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., featuring games, snacks, and music. Online registration for the event opens Thursday, Aug. 6.

Rounding out the month, the library will host a family movie night on Thursday, Aug. 27, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The screening is open to attendees ages 12 and older with no registration required.
