TEMECULA, CA — The 25th annual Temecula Torch Run will be held on Sept. 20, raising funds for the Special Olympics, the city announced on Thursday.
The run will take place on 7.2 mile route starting at Pechanga Resort Casino and ending at the Temecula Promenade.
The annual event in Temecula helps raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics programs in Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
Special Olympics of Southern California - Inland Empire provides free, year-round sports training, competition, and support for people with intellectual disabilities in Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
Motorists were advised to be cautious on the road during the event.
