TEMECULA, CA — Fall is in the air across Temecula Valley Wine Country, where the vineyards are entering harvest season, pumpkins are returning to the farm and local wineries are filling the weekend with seasonal celebrations.
From a traditional grape stomp to a country concert under the stars, here are five things to do in Temecula Wine Country this weekend.
Peltzer Family Cellars will celebrate two milestones Saturday: 30 years of Peltzer Pumpkin Farm and 10 years of Peltzer Winery.
The all-day, all-ages anniversary party also marks opening day for the pumpkin farm. Activities include pony and train rides, a petting farm, pig races, carnival games, gem panning, face painting and the lighting of the giant pumpkin at 7:15 p.m.
Sammy Listoe will perform from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., followed by Chris Merrell from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Food trucks, wine, beer, sangria and cocktails will also be available.

Celebrate harvest season the old-fashioned way during Bella Vista Winery's 2026 Grape Stomp.
Two-person teams will climb into oak barrels and compete for prizes, with a costume contest and giveaways adding to the festivities. The family-friendly event will take place near Lake Bella Vista.
Admission is $150 per two-person team and includes a bottle of sparkling wine.

Fazeli Cellars will mark Mehregan, the ancient Persian festival celebrating autumn, friendship and gratitude.
The Friday evening celebration offers Wine Country visitors another way to welcome the season while exploring the Persian influence behind Fazeli Cellars and its wines.
Tickets are $50 for nonmembers, $25 for members and $35 for a member's guest.

On Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the main festival will take place at the winery at 41150 Via Europa.
Tickets are still available for visitors to taste over 50 European wines, beers, and spirits, paired with European bites from France, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, and Ireland).

Ease into the weekend with Friday Uncorked at Callaway Vineyard & Winery.
The happy hour at Meritage features a special bites menu, grape-based cocktails and $4 off wine by the glass. Visitors can stay for dinner as the sun sets over the vineyards.
