His vision started over 20 years ago when he had his “ah-ha moment” and decided he needed to make his own barbecue sauce instead of using sub par, generic, store bought sauces. He felt as if those sauces didn’t do the main course justice so began his journey toward perfection.

“I didn’t want to reinvent the wheel,” he says. “It was about creating bold flavor harmonies.”

And he did just that. Using only natural ingredients and no preservatives, Ira concocted interesting flavorful sauces like Smokehouse, Apple Chipotle, Apricot Jalapeno, and Smokehouse Heat.
