Articulate Dance Studio Campaign

Help us raise fundings to open a new dance studio in Temecula, California!

Greetings! We are the Articulate Dance Team, based out of Temecula, California. Since 2013, we have traveled all over the country, competing in the most prestigious and top tier dance competitions in the world. Beyond just competition, we have also organized and provided multiple community workshops with some of the best up and coming choreographers in the dance industry, held weekly classes for dancers of all skill levels, and most importantly, shared our story with the world. Articulate has become home for many young students and adults, even if they were not on or actively participating in the roster. We live by one motto, and that is: "Love. Always. Wins." With this, our hearts and passion for each other and dance has carried us beyond any hardship we have ever encountered in our individual lives, and as a team. We have been driven out of studios, left studios because of financial hardships and contracts, and we rehearse at a park and parking garage now.
What is this campaign for? The local dance studios in Temecula and Murrieta have created an obvious business competitive atmosphere in our cities, and we are convicted to take a stand against this. Not only has it affected the way our younger generations perceive and live out this art form, but it has also made it almost impossible for any below average income student that is eager to dive into the world of dance, actually get a fair chance at doing so. This is where we want the change.
Articulate is 110% committed on creating, for the very first time in our cities, a completely community oriented dance studio. This facility will hold classes, but at the lowest rate any local studio will offer. If that is still not enough, we have "life investors" that will sponsor our students tuitions, so that they may keep exploring dance. If THAT'S still not enough, well, it is our promise for any student who cannot meet tuition needs nor be partnered with a sponsor, to take classes for FREE for as long as the studio is open. We plan to hold free community classes EVERY DAY for not only teenagers and young adults, but for toddlers, elementary students, middle aged and senior citizens, those with disabilities, and local foster homes! Not only for those who are looking to begin dancing, but also for aspiring choreographers and dancers who need a push into their careers.
Why are we doing this? It's really simple: we love dance this much. Dance, as cheesy as this sounds, has literally become our life. We all have a story to share and we can all relate to the hardship of having what we love taken away from us because of financial hardships and lack of support from our peers. How do we do this? Together. Our life commitment is to see this dream facility up and running one day. We have never given up on our goals, and we don't plan to, ever. But we need YOUR help community, to make this dream become a reality! Opening up a facility that offers this kind of program is NOT cheap, and though we have done our best as a team to raise funds in our individual jobs and lives, it's just not enough. ANYTHING helps!
