Back To School In Temecula: 2023-24 School Calendar

TEMECULA, CA —Temecula students and families are prepping for back-to-school, with classes beginning Aug. 14.

The Temecula Valley Unified School District calendar is now available to help parents prepare for the school year and plan for upcoming events and holidays into 2024.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. Here is the list of dates to know for this school year.

• First Day: Aug. 14
• Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 20-Nov. 24
• Winter Break: Dec. 21 - Jan. 8
• Spring Break: March 25 - Apr. 5
• Last Day: June 7

Regular class times are as follows:

• High School (Chaparral, Great Oak, and Temecula Valley)- 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Rancho Vista High School - 8:45 a.m. to 3:10 p.m.
• Middle Schools: 8 a.m. to 2:20 p.m.
• Elementary Schools: 8:50 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
• Home Instead Innovation Academy (TK-8): 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• AM Kindergarten: 8:50 a.m. - 12:55 p.m.
• PM Kindergarten: 10:25 a.m. to. 2:30 p.m.
• Charter schools: varies- call the school for more information.
