Beloved Volleyball Coach Bumped To Associate Athletic Director Position At Rancho Christian School

TEMECULA, CA — A Temecula private school has promoted from coach to Associate Athletic Director, Rancho Christian School announced this week.

"We are proud to announce that Coach Caitlyn Bato will be stepping fully into her role as Associate Athletic Director, while transitioning from Head Volleyball Coach," a recent news release from the school said.

"Coach Caitlyn made this decision wholeheartedly and in the best interest of our growing athletic program," according to the release. "As Rancho Christian Athletics continues to expand, the need for strong leadership and support across all sports has never been greater. Caitlyn recognized that need and chose to step into a bigger role so she can impact every program, every coach, and every student-athlete."

During her tenure as Head Volleyball Coach, Coach Caitlyn elevated Rancho Christian Volleyball to an elite level.

A school spokesperson discussed her accolades and beyond.

"Her leadership has been marked by humility, discipline, and servant leadership. She consistently challenged her athletes to stay humble, work hard, and trust that success follows dedication and integrity. She built a culture rooted in serving your team and serving your community," they said.

Don't worry, volleyball families. While Bato is stepping away from the Head Coach position, she is not stepping away from the program.

"Coach Caitlyn will continue to serve as Assistant and JV Coach, remaining an integral part of the culture and foundation that has already been established," they said.

"Being Head Coach over the past two years has been a tremendous blessing for her, and she is excited to continue growing our elite athletic programs in this expanded role," they said.

"Please join us in thanking Coach Caitlyn for her outstanding leadership and service to our Volleyball program, and in congratulating her as she steps into this new chapter at Rancho Christian. Her impact will now extend across every sport, strengthening the future of Athletics at Rancho Christian for years to come."
