Bingo! $10,000 Pechanga Prize Goes To Birthday Girl
This lucky lady walked out of Pechanga $10,000 richer than when she walked in this week.
TEMECULA, CA — An Oceanside woman who stopped by the Temecula Valley to hit up Bingo on her birthday at Pechanga is now $10,000 richer. Catherine Sarnecky headed into Pechanga Bingo’s matinee session on Tuesday hoping to win, and boy did she!
"She marked her numbers among hundreds of other players during various games," Pechanga Spokeswoman Ciara Green said. "After about an hour, she realized something was different. Her bingo card number combination triggered a major jackpot payable to her."
Sarnecky had won a $10,052 prize -- all from a $40 bingo buy-in.

“I could not believe it and I said to myself, ‘I better watch my blood pressure,’” said Sarnecky, who immediately called her family who cheered for her over the phone.
She told Pechanga Bingo staff she plans to use some of the money to help her children, and will use the rest of the winnings for herself.
