TEMECULA, CA — A vacation in Spain may be something to only dream about amid current local and world events, but a new destination in Temecula Wine Country aims to transport local visitors to the Spanish countryside.

The multi-winery resort Europa Village announced the opening of its latest addition—Bolero — on June 12. Touted as a "lively Spanish winery" that's part of Europa Village's ongoing growth, Bolero complements the estate's existing French and Italian villages.

“The next chapter in the Europa Village story has arrived, and it’s a fully immersive experience into Spanish wine—created to be a celebration of the centuries-old tradition of dining, drinking, and reconnecting together,” said Dan Stephenson, owner of Europa Village. “Bolero’s stunning private casitas, restaurant, boutique, and tasting room will provide our guests and visitors a chance to step into Spain, right here in Temecula Valley, and we look forward to welcoming them to create unique wine country moments."

Bolero is set among vineyards, cypress and olive trees, fountains and wrought iron, with scents of leather and wood. It features Bolero Restaurante, a vineyard-facing, outdoor-indoor spot with views and tapas-style dishes; curated seafood offerings, including roasted boneless whole red snapper and grilled octopus salad; as well as signature dishes such as grilled Bolero-style Piedmontese flat-iron steak, “Fabada el Cuenco” with stewed pork and beans and Bilbao chorizo; Jamón Serrano and faba beans; a curated menu of made-to-order Paellas; a dessert list; and of course a celebration of Spanish-produced wines.

The Bolero village also features a boutique offering olive oil tastings and many Spanish-inspired mementos.

The casitas at Bolero are now taking online reservations for stays beginning July 1. Vaulted ceilings, large baths, and private courtyards with outdoor furnishings and seating space are just some of the accommodation details.

“We could not be more pleased to begin welcoming our guests to Bolero,” said Europa Village General Manager John Goldsmith. “Our wine tasting, dining, boutique and event operations are primed to provide an unforgettable Temecula Wine Country experience, while we finalize our stunning casitas and complete our future vision to deliver a truly immersive multi-winery resort experience to the more than 1 million annual visitors and the 26 million residents that live within a 3-hour drive of this amazing destination.”

Europa Village is situated on more than 45 acres in Temecula Wine Country. In addition to Bolero, the resort is expanding its Italian-inspired Vienza Winery Resort and Spa, as well as its C’est la Vie resort, which is inspired by the French countryside. There's also the 10-room Inn at Europa Village, which overlooks the property.
