Brush Fire Breaks Out West Of Temecula
The blaze was reported near Patton Lane, at Gavilan Mountain Road.

TEMECULA, CA — A brush fire broke out Wednesday west of Temecula, but no homes or structures were immediately threatened.
The 1-acre blaze was reported at 4:55 p.m. on the north end of Patton Lane, at Gavilan Mountain Road. The area is considered part of Fallbrook in San Diego County, according to North County Fire Protection District, which is on scene.
No injuries were immediately reported.

The forward rate of spread on the brusher was stopped at approximately 6:30 p.m., the North County Fire Protection District reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
