TEMECULA, CA — Barrel tasting weekend is almost here, and for those living in and around Temecula, this is an ideal time to sip, savor and see what the wineries of Temecula Valley have to offer. Come for the wine, stay for the food and music and it all starts Saturday.

From Jan. 31 to Feb. 1, Temecula Wines returns with its signature Barrel Tasting Weekend. Over 30 wineries are participating in this "choose your own adventure" wine tasting event.

Tickets are on sale HERE, with options that include a Single-Day Winery Pass ($89), Two-Day Winery Pass ($92) and Designated Driver tickets ($49).

This metal or glass device is a wine thief; wineries use it to sample wine directly from the barrel.

"This is the only time of year that Southern California’s premier wine region invites the public behind the scenes to taste unreleased vintages directly from the barrel," a spokesperson for Temeula Wines said.

SeeThis is a rare chance to taste wines, sample foods, for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at how each wine goes from barrel to bottle.
