TVGS Scholarship Winner to Read Winning Essay
Temecula Valley Genealogical Society presents 2026 TVGS $500 Scholarship Essay winner Kyana (Goose) Segna on Monday evening, June 8th, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Ron Roberts Temecula Library Community Room. Goose is a graduate of Vista Murrieta High School and will be attending University of California San Diego in the fall where she plans to study for a career utilizing political science in the nonprofit sector.
The public is invited to come and listen to Goose read her winning essay, after which there will be refreshments and a chance to meet Goose in person. The public is also invited to stay for a virtual lecture afterward on using the Daughters of the American Revolution's website for research that can assist you even if you do not have a Patriot Ancestor, presented by the always entertaining guest speaker Christine Cohen.
Attend the live essay reading and the virtual lecture in person at the library or via ZOOM. Doors open at 5:30, essay reading begins at 6:00. Monday, June 8th at the Ron H.
