Old Town Temecula will be filled with live jazz all day Sunday, August 16, as part of Temecula Jazz 2026 — The Ultimate, Intimate Jazz Party. The free community festival runs from noon to 6:30pm at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater and The Merc, 42051 Main Street.
The day features four performances by world-class jazz musicians, including The Trio (Jeff Colella, Chris Colangelo, Kendall Kay), pianist Tamir Hendelman with vocalist Claire Martin, the Doug Webb All-Stars with a closing jam session, and the AJI Big Band performing Ellington and Strayhorn with Sherry Williams — free with open seating at the Community Theater.
Shows at The Merc are free but require a reservation per show, as seating is limited to 60. Unclaimed reservations release to walk-ins 20 minutes before showtime.
Food vendors and spirit tastings will be on-site throughout the day, along with concessions at the Community Theater.
