Temecula, CA – Hundreds of quilts will transform Old Town Temecula on Saturday, October 3, when the Valley of the Mist Quilters Guild presents its annual outdoor quilt show, complete with a live auction and boutique.
Visitors from across Southern California are expected to line the streets as quilts are displayed from Old Town storefronts between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.The highlight of the day – a live quilt auction – will begin at 1:00 p,m. in the courtyard of the Old Town Temecula Community Theater.
The Valley of the Mist Quilters Guild works year-round to organize this signature event, held in partnership with the City of Temecula.The outdoor show also serves as the finale to a month-long celebration of fiber arts in the region.As part of these festivities, an exhibition of art quilts will be on display at Grace Mellman Library, 41000 County Center Drive, from August 29, through October 2.
