St.Thomas of Canterbury Episcopal Church in Temecula will celebrate Blessing of the Animals & Pet Faire on Saturday, October 3, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The church is located at 44651 Avenida de Missiones, close to Temecula Valley Parkway.
All are welcome to bring their fuzzy friends for a blessing, expressing kindness and respect toward God’s creatures. Many Christians celebrate this in early October, the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, a patron saint of animals.
The event reflects the belief that all animals are part of God’s creation and that humans are called to be caretakers of the earth.
Stuffed animals are welcome as well!
