In this presentation, Ron will explore the intersection of family reunification, mental wellness, housing, incarceration, and successful community reintegration, while sharing both lived experience and practical lessons about what individuals and families need to build stability, connection, and a sustainable path forward.

About the Speakers

Ronald Alvarado is the Founder of Clear Path Wellness & Recovery, LLC, a community-based behavioral health and recovery organization serving individuals and families throughout Riverside County. He is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC II/ICADC), Certified Anger Management Specialist, Community Health Worker, Peer Support Specialist, and Domestic Violence Counselor..

Ron brings both professional expertise and lived experience to his work. After experiencing more than two decades of incarceration, he returned home and faced firsthand the challenges of rebuilding family relationships, establishing stability, navigating systems, maintaining recovery, and creating a new direction for his life.

Today, Ron works with adults, youth, families, justice-involved individuals, and community partners to address behavioral health, substance use, family reunification, reentry, and barriers to long-term stability. His work is grounded in the belief that people are more than a diagnosis, an addiction, a court case, or the worst chapter of their lives.
