Festival campsites for the popular Temecula event typically sell out in less than an hour.

Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival fans hover over their computer awaiting that chance to buy a campsite for the annual event. Festival campsites sell out in less than an hour. Campsites at Lake Skinner where the event is held go on sale at 8 a.m., March 4, 2014.

Campers have the best seats in the house for the early morning hot air balloon launches, awaking to the dawn skies filled with balloons May 30, 31, and June 1.
The Festival’s park setting provides natural vistas whether flying aboard a hot air balloon, or gazing at the sights from the ground. The three-day event includes morning hot air balloon launches, evening balloon glows, wine tasting from premium wineries, concerts on two different stages, and a Sunday freestyle motocross show.

“Photographers revel in the visuals from dawn balloon ascensions to the colorful evening balloon glows,” Festival executive director Carol Popejoy added. “This makes camping during the event the extreme Festival experience.”
The Festival recently announced headliners for their evening concerts. Country Friday will feature Justin Moore, and Saturday will feature 3 Doors Down with special guests Gin Blossoms. Moore,named Billboard's "Top Country Artist of 2009," has a slew of hits including "If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away," "Small Town USA," "Backwoods," "Point At You," "Till My Last Day" and "Bait A Hook."
Alternative rockers 3 Doors Down are best known for their hits "Kryptonite, " "The Better Life" "When I'm Gone", "The Road I'm On", "Here Without You," "Away from the Sun," "Dangerous Game", "Dead Love" and "Wasted Me".
