Car Strikes Building, Causes Major Damage To Temecula Strip Mall
Overnight, a car struck a building in South Temecula.
TEMECULA, CA — A vehicle slammed into a Temecula building, causing major damage, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department shared Thursday night.
Shortly before 8:30 p.m., a vehicle struck a business in the 33200 block of Temecula Parkway in Temecula.
"Crews responded to a single vehicle into a strip mall, causing major damage," Cal Fire spokesperson Tawny Castro told Patch. Only one business was affected, according to Cal Fire.

Temecula Building and Safety officers arrived and took over the incident at 9:30 p.m., according to the Castro.
Firefighters reached the location shortly after patrol deputies and found the two occupants of the vehicle suffering from unspecified minor to moderate injuries.

They were taken to a regional trauma center for treatment and were in stable condition Friday, authorities said.
No one inside the strip mall was hurt. According to the fire department, damage to the business was extensive. It was unclear what triggered the crash. The motorist was not arrested, but the investigation was ongoing on Friday.
