"She is such an amazing and caring person," her father wrote. "She has been cheering for 10 years and has been the captain of her High School Cheer and Stunt teams.
"Bree overcame her learning disability and received a scholarship to attend Boise State University in the fall, even after her high school counselors told her she would not be able to get into a university," he said. "She has a heart of gold and we could not be any prouder."
What's one thing you want everyone to know about your graduating student nominee?
"I hope everyone knows what an amazing young lady she is," he said. "Congratulations on your achievements, and all of our best wishes to you in the future, Bree Padgett!"
